Studies

Our members conduct studies on issues of importance to our organization. Studies that are currently underway:

- Alternative energy

At the Annual Meeting in 2006, members approved a study of sources and uses of alternative energy in Santa Fe County, with special attention to actions by local governments. In April 2007 the committee, chaired by Neva Van Peski and Dani Frye, presented units on solar and wind energy. In October, the committee will present units on geothermal and biomass energy, as well as conservation alternatives, and will propose positions for discussion and consensus.
