Speakers are Nick Schiavo, energy specialist for the City of Santa Fe, and Debbie Shapiro, a local contractor specializing in retrofitting older homes. David Rasch, director of Santa Fe's Historic Preservation Division, will be on hand to answer questions about implementing the energy saving options in the historic district.

Come and learn about your local League. Everyone is welcome. Lunch is $15. Reservations are required and must be made by noon, Friday, November 13. Brian Sanderoff will speak on the 2010 Census, its importance to the redistricting process, and what the League can do to help at the LWV-CNM luncheon and general meeting. Mr. Sanderoff, president of Research & Polling, Inc., has provided technical and professional services since the 1980s in the redistricting of New Mexico's state house, senate, and US Congressional districts and will be involved in the upcoming efforts. A revised Sustainable Land Development Plan (SLDP) will be presented at a special meting of the County Development Review Committee. In advance of this meeting, on January 29, the SLDP will be made available to the public on the County of Santa Fe website. CDs and copies of the plan will also available on that date at the county administrative office, county satellite offices, and public libraries.
